The Endocrine Fellows Foundation (EFF) and the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) are pleased to offer fellows training in osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases a unique opportunity to participate in a Fellows Forum on Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases held prior to the ASBMR Annual Meeting, September September 5 - 8, 2025
Faculty includes a distinguished group of leaders and the topics presented and discussed are timely and among the most important in our field. The program is balanced to be equally strong in clinical and basic aspects of metabolic bone diseases.
The program kicks off with a welcome event on Wednesday evening. Thursday is a full day comprised of plenary lectures, breakout workshops, and a poster session. We view the poster session as one of the highlights of the day and look forward to hearing about fellows’ exciting research in this setting.

Faculty Perspectives for the Fellows Forum in Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases
Ego Seeman, MD, FRACP, Professor, University of Melbourne, Austin Health, West Heidelberg, Victoria, Australia I think this program is more important than ever now. We have moved into troubling times in many ways, one is the attrition of the founding fathers of the golden age of bone biology. What you are doing is important and it’s a privilege to be part of it.Teresita Bellido, PhD, Professor, University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, Little Rock, Arkansas It will be my honor and pleasure to participate this year again in the Forum. It is just a great program.Bart Clarke, MD, Professor of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota Happy to participate in this excellent program for our fellows to encourage their careers in bone and mineral metabolism.
