The Sixteenth Fellows Forum on Metabolic Bone Diseases, was held at the JW Marriot Austin Downtown on September 7-8 prior to the ASBMR Annual Meeting, which was held on September 9-12, 2022.
Faculty included a distinguished group of leaders including Drs. Clifford Rosen, Ego Seeman, John, P. Bilezikian, Susan Bukata, Mary Bouxsein, Michael McClung, Paul Miller, Michael Whyte, Bart Clarke, Teresita Bellido, Deborah Sellmeyer, Neil Binkley and Kristy Nicks. The topics presented and discussed were timely and among the most important in our field.
Each year the program is comprised of plenary lectures, breakout workshops, and a poster session. Fellows present their work in one of two poster sessions where they receive faculty and peer feedback. We view the poster session as one of the highlights of the day and look forward to hearing about fellows’ exciting research in this setting. The 2022 Fellows rose to the occasion and did a great job.

International Connections
The 2022 Forum was attended by fellows from across the United Sates and eight other countries. We were thrilled to welcome Roksolana to the program this year and we applaud her dedication to continuing her education. Roksolana traveled to the Forum from Kyiv, Ukraine; a long trip indeed. Roksolana, her colleagues, and countrymen remain in our thoughts.
