Testimonials

Each meeting, EFF collects testimonials from program attendees and participants. Check out what people have to say about us below!
The Endocrine Fellows Foundation was an essential part of my career development as an academic physician scientist. The EFF provides numerous excellent programs for fellows in a variety of different clinical and research settings. Of critical importance are their programs for research funding. These programs provided me with the opportunity to compete for my own independent research funding - an essential step in building autonomy and self-confidence. In addition, the EFF research meeting at the end of the program allowed me to present my work and network with peers and leaders in the field. Now, over a decade later, I rely on the EFF to provide similar opportunities to my endocrine trainees. I feel very fortunately to have benefited from EFF programs, both as a fellow and as a mentor.
Erin Kershaw, MD
Past Fellow and Associate Professor, University of Pittsburgh
I attended the Endocrine Fellows Foundation Forum two years in a row. Each time has been a special opportunity for me to network with my peers and the top leaders in the field. The EFF has created a community for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to collaborate with each other. The plenary and breakout sessions were a great introduction to topics discussed during ASBMR and allowed us to introduce ourselves to ASBMR leaders.
David Maridas
PhD Candidate, Maine Medical Center
Obtaining research funds for fellows' scholastic projects is very difficult for training programs. The EFF grants are invaluable in their support to help fellows complete their research projects. In many cases the EFF grant makes the difference between a successful research project and not being able to complete one.

The program for fellows in metabolic bone disease organized by Professor Bilezikian is the best of its kind. I strongly endorse the need for continued funding of the program. The fellows I have sent over have been completely supportive and most have begun a career in bone disease.
Professor Ego Seeman, MD
